Stoney Lake Triathlon is a fun, safe event that offers something for everyone.
A grass-roots event in a beautiful location, this is a unique triathlon experience.

Plenty of Free parking and post race festivities are at Carveths Marina

Races & Fees
Try-A-Try : 300 m swim, 10km bike, 3km run - Starting at $100
Sprint Triathlon : 750 m swim, 20km bike, 5km run - Starting at $110
Duathlon : 3km run, 20km bike, 5km run - Starting at $110
Team Sprint Triathlon or Duathlon (2 or 3 members) : 750m swim (or 3k run), 20km bike, 5km run - Starting at $120
Kids 1k : FREE! But you have to register by June 20th
Course Description
Swim: Accurate course in beautiful Stoney Lake, water will be 20-22degrees. Wetsuits are encouraged but not mandatory. Small 300m loop or 750m loop. Deep water start, boat ramp exit. Wetsuits for sale & Rent at Runner's Life
Bike: Out and back 5k or 10k on Birchview Road. One of the most scenic roads in all the Kawarthas. Some rolling hills, a beautiful tree canopy and some fun turns. Open to traffic (it's a quiet road) so keep to the right of the road. OPP control the only stop sign on the course so you have right-of-way. Beautiful pavement for the bike course but 400m of gravel to start/finish the course, don't worry, if you have a fancy TT bike it'll handle the light gravel without problem.
Run: Out and back 1.5k or 2.5k on Golf Course Road. A quiet country road with rolling hills and a bit of tree cover but not much. Water station at 1.5k/3k

9am for the Try-A-Tri
10am for the Sprint Tri, Relay & Duathlon
12:30pm for the kids 1k fun run. Registration for the 1k is free but has to be done prior to June 20th
Race day check in begins 8 am
